More Christmas happenings

Alex has hit the big time. The TV station that recorded his choir in late November has posted their songs. Each song is posted separately with a commercial beforehand (ughh). Our favorites are song 1 and song 4. http://www.keyetv.com/content/entertainment/season/default.aspx
You will need to choose Parmer Lane Elementary and then each song. He is in the front row just to the right of the choir director. If she leans a little, he is covered, but he is on the video several times when they pan down the rows.

Last night, we drove around the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights. We had a ball! Benjamin was REALLY into it. There were lots of oohs, a few ahs and several shouts of excitement and joy from him. He LOVED it. Occasionally, he would say uh oh, if there was a house with no lights. It was reminiscent of Alex when he was 18 months and he pointed out every house with no lights by saying uh oh. We also found a house with over 20,000 lights that were synchronized to Christmas music. We pulled over and watched the house for about 15 minutes. It was awesome. I can't imagine how much work it must take to put together a show like that, but it was neat. I just got a link to a video on YouTube. This shows the first half of the show. Our favorite part starts at 3:49 in the video.

Another quick note about Alex...We asked him how his dress rehearsal went and he gave it a thumbs up. He said the only problem was the fuzz from the beard got in his mouth. That might make it hard to sing, I suppose!

Very nice singing Alexander. Break a leg on your show!

We went to Zack's Living Nativity show last night at his school. He was an angel, it was precious.

I love the video of Alex's choir! They are really good. And that Christmas light display is amazing! I can't get Mike to put any lights up on our house here this year. I'll have to show him what we're missing out on. :0) Merry Christmas and keep enjoying the season!
