We would like to welcome the newest member of our family...Andrew Joseph Swayne! He was born on Easter morning although he won't have another Easter birthday until he's 52, according to his mommy. My sister sounds great and everyone is doing well. They should be coming home sometime today. Life will be a new adventure with 3 boys running around. We love you!
We had a nice, quiet Easter. We attended an egg scramble (there really wasn't any hunting happening) on Saturday. It was a little crazy. I am not a big fan of egg hunts since the parents always seem to interfere, but the kids enjoy them. Sunday, the Easter bunny visited and we had a nice dinner. Grandma Mindy was out of town, so it was just us.
This weekend, we're heading to Dallas to see Blast, the drum and bugle corp show. We're pretty excited. Alex can hardly wait to see it and periodically asks to watch the show on DVD. Emma is getting worried about how loud it will be. Sean says we should bring some earplugs for her, just in case. We're planning to go to the aquarium and maybe the arboretum while we're up there. Plus, we'll make use of the hotel swimming pool. It will be Benjamin's first time ever in a pool. It should be a fun weekend and hopefully a nice break for everyone.
Other than that, it's pretty quiet around here. Everyone is getting back into the routine after spring break, Easter, etc. As always, there are lots of appointments, baseball games, gymnastics, etc. to fill our time. It's definitely a busy time in life.
Here are a few Easter pictures...

I like the term "Easter Scramble" - you're right about the lack of hunting! Congratulations to Jennie & Joe. That is so exciting! Have a wonderful weekend in Dallas!!! I'm sure Benjamin will LOVE swimming once he gets the feel for it.
What happened to the old Easter Egg HUNTS when you actually had to look for the eggs? I like your "Easter Scramble" term too! Your weekend get away sounds fun! Love, Aunt Dude
