Withdrawal?!?

Are you getting Buckley Family withdrawal yet? It's been 3 whole days since I've posted...

Benjamin is just about back to his happy self. Friday wasn't a very good day for him as the diaper rash reached its peak. His behind is looking much better and we're all happier around here. He's starting to run again. He's giggling, laughing and smiling which leads to smiles for everyone.

Emma had a busy Saturday with another cookie booth and a birthday party. She went to Build-A-Bear Workshop and built a horse. I have no idea how many horses and unicorns are in her bed, but it's a lot! She has sold upwards of 90 boxes of cookies with much help from Grandma Mindy who has sold almost 3 dozen at work. Thanks, Grandma Mindy!

Tonight is another basketball game for Alex. Grandma and Grandpa Hested got to go to another one before they left on Saturday. Grandpa said he noticed a lot of improvement from the prior game. Alex scored 3 baskets, had a couple steals and rebounds. It sounds like it was much more even and fun to watch than the prior game. Hopefully, tonight's game will be similar.

Emma received a reading award at her semester award ceremony this morning. The award was given to students who have exceeded the semester reading expectations. We're all very pleased with her reading accomplishments.

We're anxiously awaiting the appointment with Dr. Cortez on Wednesday. We should find out what the surgery schedule looks like and discuss the next surgery in more detail. Benjamin also will have an ultrasound to check on his prior surgery. Benjamin is also back in to the swing of appointments with physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy this week. 4 appointments. Whew!
