Quick Note

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know we're doing just fine. Benjamin is recovering much more quickly this time around. The surgery was much more localized, so recovery has been a little easier. The real blessing is that so far he hasn't got the red bottom from the antibiotics. It may be on its way, but he's had a reprieve for now.

In other exciting news, Emma sold her remaining Girl Scout cookies this weekend. Yeah for us! I think Grandma Mindy still has a few at her office, but we're pretty much done. Emma sold 157 boxes. I think that's pretty good for the first time around. It seems like a lot more than I used to sell when we went door to door.

Alex is just about done with basketball. His last game is on Saturday and then he rolls right into baseball. Whew, no rest for the weary! He also wants everyone to know he passed the Super Whiz Kids math test at school. It is a timed test that tests addition, subtraction and multiplication. They have to get 100% on the test to pass. So far, only 1 other third grader has passed. Pretty elite company!
