Toothless Wonder

Emma has become a toothless wonder. She now has a huge window on top since she lost her second tooth in as many weeks. It was so ready to come out that it fell out while she was eating eggs. Check out the photos. The second one is pretty close-up, so viewer beware. I had a very nice Mother's Day. Emma greeted me with much enthusiasm at about 6:30. She wanted me to open my presents right away, but I managed to postpone until 7:30. Grandma Mindy joined us for breakfast at Magnolia Cafe, a local Austin joint. It was very tasty. Alex tore through his breakfast taco and ate 1/3 of Sean's pancakes. After breakfast, we went to feed the ducks, turtles and fish. It was a gorgeous day with a bright blue sky and a cool breeze. What a wonderful morning to spend outside. Also, Sean changed all of Benjamin's diapers for the day. Benjamin gave him a run for his money, too. Woo hoo for me!

One last little story...This morning at breakfast, Alex was teaching Benjamin how to say, "Ding dong Emma." Not the nicest thing to say but still kind of funny when you hear a little 2 year old saying, "Dingo Seesy (Sissy)". Occasionally, he would mix it up and say, "Dingo Assike (Alex)".

Have a great week!

Oh my gosh, Julie...Alex has lost that "kid" look and is looking more grown up! I love Emma's toothless grin. Benjamin sounds like he keeps you on your toes! I'm glad you got a rest from diapers on Mother's day.

Sweet no diaper changing for a day, that is a great gift. Looks and sounds like you guys had much better weather then we did on Mother's Day, it was chilly, windy and rainy here. Emma is definitely the "toothless" wonder. I showed Joe the pictures too and we both thought that Benjamin is really, really starting to look like Alex now. I also agree Alex is looking more grown up these days! Love, Aunt Dude
