Happy Anniversary to Sean and me! We have been married for 16 amazing years. We celebrated by going out to dinner and a movie. A night out by ourselves is a pretty rare occurrence these days. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing Iron Man. The kids stayed with a new babysitter and she did a wonderful job! She even tackled picking up the playroom.
.
Emma brought us right back to Earth though by starting up with another stomach virus. I took her to the doctor today and he says she isn't dehydrated at this point. We're just going to stay on her with drinking fluids and getting some rest. She is actually taking a nap right now even though she insisted she wouldn't go to sleep. Unfortunately, she is supposed to be at Girl Scout camp right now. I'm hoping there is a possibility to shift her to another session later in the summer. Otherwise, as Sean said, it's just the price of doing business.
.
The kids got out of school on Wednesday afternoon, so the summer has officially begun. They played with friends on Thursday and we just lounged around on Friday. Saturday was another swim meet and then Emma got sick again on Sunday. Never a dull moment. Emma took 2 seconds off her freestyle swim. Alex got 3 seconds and 2 fourths. He's having a great year!

Happy Anniversary!!! I did remember yours since it is Macey's birthday. Sounds like you're having fun taking care of sick kids. I hope the sick bug moves on soon.

What a GORGEOUS wedding picture...I don't know why I've never seen that before. A HUGE congratulations! That is no small accomplishment in this world these days. You two are amazing and you are an inspiration to all who know you (including me)! Happy Anniversary, and here's hoping Emma will get better SOON!
Happy Anniversary! 16 years! That's wonderful. And that you still enjoy each other's company make it even more wonderful. :) I'm so sorry that Emma has been sick again. Poor kid. That's no fun. I also loved the Benjamin stories. What a cutie! Thanks for the update.
Happy Anniversary Jewels & Sean! I can't believe it's already been 16 years! I love the Benjamin stories. Poor Emma, I hope she does feel better soon she needs to start really enjoying her summer now. Cute pics of Emma and Alex with their teachers. Love, Aunt Dude
P.S. We all still remember what Dale says about your wedding. When the D.J. announced that the dance was starting, Dale said look out it was like a stampede of people rushing to the dance floor. He said he had never seen anything like it...until he went to Jennie and I's weddings also. It's definitely a Powers family thing, we love to dance and have a good time at weddings! It's great!
Happy Father's Day to Sean!!!
