Kids say the darnedest things...

Before I forget, I wanted to post about a couple of funny things the kids said recently...
Emma is auditioning to be in her 2nd grade musical, Nuts!, this week. When we asked her what part she wants, she responded, "Nut #2!" Apparently, her second choice is Nut #1 and third choice is a Cashew. How funny! She probably doesn't see the irony in playing a nut.

As we've mentioned previously, Benjamin's favorite cereal is Rice Krispies, otherwise known as "Tinies". Recently, Kellogg's came out with a new type of Rice Krispies called Jumbo Krispies. I showed them to Benjamin in the store and he decided they would be OK to try for breakfast. The next morning when we asked what he wanted for breakfast, he announced, "Super giant tinies!" Sounds good to me!

Another one from Emma...when I am cleaning the house, the kids usually run the other way since they're not interested in helping, however, Emma does make an exception for mopping. She loves to mop! I always mop the kitchen since that floor needs a lot of attention, but Emma enjoys mopping the foyer. One day, she got home from school and saw me mopping. I told her I didn't mop the foyer yet. She started cheering and said, "Yeah, you saved it for me!" I'll gladly save the mopping for her any time!

A little potty time quote..."Mommy, do you hear the raindrops?"

That's it for now...Have a great day!

Send Emma my way to get her mopping fix -- I hate mopping.

Hahaha, very cute! You should make rice krispie treats with the super giant tinies! Wow, I wonder how long Emma's love of mopping will last...! Love, Aunt Dude
