Since I am way behind on posts, I thought I would post a picture of our 5 year old. He turned 5 in December and is such a fun boy. He surprises us daily with his observations of the world.
He has been thriving in preschool. He can write his first name and is learning lots of letter sounds. Every month they have new subjects including the jungle, the desert and recycling. Next week they are having a leprechaun visit for St. Patrick's Day, complete with a treasure hunt for some Lucky Charms.
In February, Benjamin participated in a teeball clinic. I'm not sure how much baseball he learned, but he had a ball running with the boys. It is so funny to watch a pack of 5 year olds. Here's a video of Benjamin doing his warm up exercises. He's in the camo pants.
Benjamin is constantly building with his Legos, K'nex and beads. He have creations all over the house.

Lookin' good, Benjamin! My how you have grown!
I'm visiting with your cousins and George wants to know if your Penguin house was built with instructions since it looks pretty hard to construct.

Can't believe how much Benjamin has grown.....the t-ball days of baseball brings back good memories. Give Benjamin a hug from me.
