Benjamin got out of surgery around 5:30 p.m. and then was moved to the PICU since he had a breathing tube. He promptly removed the breathing tube upon his arrival.
He has been resting fairly comfortably most of the night. The anesthia seems to be wearing off as he is becoming much more alert. He started signing for water, so we gave him some ice chips. He liked those and was asking for more, more.
More later...Gotta rest a little.

Hope Benjamin is resting well today. Spencer had an epidural, too, when he had abdominal surgery, and it was a good thing for his pain I think. We are praying for a speedy recover. I put Benjamin's name on the prayer roll at our nearest temple this morning. We love you all.
