We're still sitting here waiting for the little guy. The operating room nurse has called out several times for VERY brief updates. As Jalene says, they are non-update updates. Essentially, he is doing very well, still stable and they're just working away. It seems like the ureter reimplant took longer than expected. Dr. Cortez said he was estimating approximately 2 hrs per side, but we're guessing it might have been more like 3 hours per side. The nurse did say they are not going to do the abdominoplasty at this point. We'll have to find out from Dr. Cortez what the reasoning is. There could be any number of reasons. We're still not sure when he'll be done since the nurse's answer to that question was, "I can't answer that. That's a question for the doctor." Hmmm, don't know what to think about that since we don't have access to the doctor and she is probably standing 5 feet from him. Anyways, we're all doing fine for now. Just getting sore behinds. :)

I just talked with Jennifer and she said you sounded pretty good on the phone! What a long day for you and Sean! I can only imagine! Know that we have been praying for you throughout the day and will continue to do so! Thanks for updating the site so we can all "know what is going on" down south!
