Pics from the Hospital

Benjamin would like to show everyone a couple of the cool things at the new hospital.

The first picture is a ball sculpture at the entrance to the hospital. As the balls move through, they hit various bells, chimes, etc. Grandpa Hested had to study it thoroughly while he was here. Note: Benjamin is feeling a little perkier than this picture shows. He smiled right after I took it.
The following 3 pictures are of the butterfly wall which is along one of the hallways. When you push the wall, the entire wall changes colors and butterflys fly down it. It changes from red to blue to green to yellow. Pretty neat.

Some of the other nice things around here are: several nice gardens/courtyards, a halfpint library with free books for the kids and their siblings, and an extensive DVD library. When Grandma Hested was here, she tried to go outside by the waterfall. I say try because she managed to spill her soda due to the doors being difficult to open. During the rest of the week, she made it her mission to observe the doors and see if anyone else spilled. One lady dropped her magazine and 2 others spilled their drinks. That made her feel a little better. We need to find the suggestion box to improve the doors.

Those look like cool things to entertain the children and the parents too. I can totally see Dad studying the ball contraption. Mom told me about the doors too and how annoyed she was about it. I hope Benjamin gets to go home soon! Did you bring your camera this week in case there were more visitors...sports team players? Love, Aunt Dude
