A 12 year old in the house

Wow! We have a newly minted 12 year old living in our house. He had a great birthday complete with yummy brownies and homemade ice cream. We went glow-in-the-dark mini-golfing and Alex lost by one stroke. I guess Sean didn't feel like he had to let Alex win. Benjamin was a little worried about going there because he was afraid it would be completely dark. He felt better after we showed him some glowing pictures from the website.

For his birthday, Alex added another cube to his collection although this one is actually a pyramid shape. He already has it figured out. Geez, Louise! He also got black "printer paper" for all his pressing origami needs. He has been asking for black paper for months and it was quite challenging to find since you can't use it for printing or copying. Does anyone want a panda or a penguin?

His birthday party is scheduled for next weekend at the pool. It will be a little different than last year's pool party when it was well into the 90s. Saturday's forecast is 74 degrees. Brrr...I suppose all the 6th graders won't care though.

Happy birthday to our 12 year old! He makes us so proud to be his parents. He is a thoughtful, caring young man who loves challenging himself with chess, math, origami, handball, swimming, piano, etc. He has easily transitioned to life in California and can't wait for next year's adventures including junior high school. We are looking forward to watching him enjoy his last year before he becomes a teenager.

Having read this I believed it was extremely informative.
I appreciate you spending some time and effort to put this information
together. I once again find myself personally spending way too much time both
reading and leaving comments. But so what, it was still worth it!
